1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use The REST App (the “App”) on mobile devices. It applies whether you downloaded the App from the Google Play Store, the Apple App Store, or another official source we authorize.

2. Information the App processes

2.1 Information you provide

We do not require you to create an account in the App or give us your name or email to use core relaxation and audio features.

2.2 Information processed automatically

To run the App and offer subscriptions, certain information is processed on your device and, when needed, by trusted service providers:

• Subscription and purchase-related information: When you purchase or restore a subscription, Apple and/or Google process payments according to their terms. We do not receive your full payment card number. We may receive limited purchase or subscription status information needed to unlock premium features in the App.

• Device and technical information: Such as device type, operating system version, app version, and identifiers used for app operation, security, fraud prevention, and subscription validation. Some identifiers may include device or advertising-related identifiers where permitted by your device settings and required by services we use.

• App functionality data: Information needed to deliver audio playback, timers, presets stored on your device, and similar features. Certain preference data may be stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage.

2.3 Third-party subscription and paywall services

We use Adapty to help us manage paywalls, subscription status, and related in-app purchase flows. Adapty processes data in accordance with its own practices and our configuration. For details, see Adapty’s documentation and policies at https://adapty.io.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App

• Process and validate subscriptions and restore purchases

• Protect security, prevent fraud, and comply with law

• Respond to support requests when you contact us

We do not sell your personal information in the traditional sense of selling lists of users to advertisers.

4. When information is shared

We may share limited information with:

• Apple and Google as part of in-app purchases and platform rules

• Adapty for subscription and paywall handling

• Service providers who help us operate the App under strict confidentiality and only as needed

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including subscription validation and legal requirements. Some data may be retained by Apple, Google, or Adapty under their own policies.

6. Security

We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

7. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain data, or to opt out of certain processing. You can also limit ad tracking or reset advertising identifiers in your device settings where available. For subscription management, use your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.

If you use the App outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
