MISSION

At Woodaworx, our passion lies in nurturing musical talent and fostering innovation, with a particular focus on supporting BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People Of Color) communities. We recognize the vital role music plays in enriching our cultural landscape, and we are committed to contributing to this legacy through our philanthropic efforts.

In light of the evident educational disparities, where statistics show that white students have a higher likelihood of progressing to secondary education compared to their BIPOC peers, our mission takes on an added significance. We aim to level the playing field for BIPOC students with a burning desire to leave their mark on the music industry, inspired by my personal journey and achievements in the musical arena.

This mission resonates deeply with me, not only as a professional milestone but as a fulfillment of my own musical dreams. Having experienced the highs and lows of a career in music, I feel a special bond with BIPOC students aspiring to follow a similar path.

To this end, Woodaworx is proud to launch a scholarship program tailored specifically for BIPOC students who are dedicated to making lasting contributions to the music world. Each year we will award scholarships to three deserving BIPOC students whose passion for music is evident and who have a clear vision for their impact on the industry. Through this initiative, Woodaworx is excited to support the next generation of BIPOC musicians, ensuring they have the resources and opportunities needed to achieve their dreams.
